Business Consult: Tienie had 28 years of business and legal experience in several senior positions at the Department of Justice and at Sanlam before he become an independent business and legal consultant. Business Consult was started by Tienie 10+ years ago after he left the services of Sanlam. He was accredited as a business consultant in Londen by the IIB (Institute for Independent Business) in December 2008. He since have been practicing as a business and legal consultant in Cape Town.

Tienie had extensive business and legal experience in several senior positions at the Department of Justice and at Sanlam. He now assists businesses in strategic planning regarding their direction, growth strategies, structural and other transformation, as well as providing legal assistance in commercial matters regarding legal entities, contracts, intellectual property protection and corporate governance. He also functions as chairman for business boards for his clients.
